If it is not what you expected, say so and get your money back. There is no form, no reason required, and I will not try to talk you out of it.
30 days, no questions, no conditions. Email me, say you want a refund, and you get one. You do not have to explain why, and I will not try to talk you out of it.
Email hi@saurabhsatija.com from the address you bought with, within 30 days of purchase, and say you want a refund.
I process it the same working day. The money goes back by the route it came, and how long it takes to appear is your card issuer's business rather than mine — typically five to ten working days. Your licence code stops working when the refund is processed.
This is a directional tool sold to professionals who will check it against their own position and, in most cases, against their adviser's view. If it does not do what you expected, arguing about it serves neither of us. A refund costs me £195; a tax professional telling colleagues I was difficult about one costs considerably more.
Beyond the 30-day window I do not refund part-used terms as a matter of course, because the licence is annual and the value is front-loaded — most people use it hardest in the weeks after they buy it.
Two exceptions, and I apply both without needing to be pushed:
A licence runs for one year. If it renews automatically you are emailed before the renewal is taken, and you can cancel at any point before that with no charge. If a renewal is taken that you did not want, tell me and I will refund it — that falls under the 30-day rule above, counted from the renewal date rather than the original purchase.
The first ten licences are free. There is nothing to refund, and nothing is owed if you stop using one. If you are holding one and it is not useful to you, I would rather hear why than have you keep it quietly.
If you are buying as a consumer rather than for a business, you may have a statutory right to cancel a distance contract in addition to the policy above. This policy does not reduce any right you have by law. Where a payment processor acts as merchant of record for your purchase, their own refund process may also be available to you.
